#57 – Ballast Point Sculpin IPA and Pyres

20 Sep

Ballast Point Sculpin IPA

Ballast Point Sculpin IPA is a highly regarded IPA from San Diego. Ballast Point recently started putting Sculpin in cans. We got some cans of Sculpin and drank the Sculpin out of the cans and talked about it. Pretty straight forward.

We listen to a song from a band called Pyres. The song is called “Deserter” and it is on Pyres’ recent album Year of Sleep. I like it a lot. Russ tries to hate it, but I caught him nodding along a couple times (specifically, at the 16:38 mark in the show).

We talk about yoga pants.

We do [impressions of] each others’ wives.

PODCASTING.

Thanks for the Pyres tip. Going in to the normal lineup for Metal Mondays. Also, jebus, don’t you guys know how to type “wiki” before your internets query? Sculpin = rad looking fish of the ocean (and sometimes freshwater) which can be found on internet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sculpin
